Progress of the Week - June Week 3 & 4

Well, those were two though weeks we had since the last time we posted a weekly blog. A lot changed since these two weeks. In this weekly blog I will talk more about our working situation than the progress of our games. So be ready for some parts skipping if you are in it for the game progress.

 

What we did the last TWO weeks: First of all let's make everything clear why the blog hadn't come up last week: - In case if you haven't seen my post about the weekly blog last week, I had to study a lot for my exams and tests and all that stuff. It was kinda boring, but I hope that I did well at least. - Kerem has went away to Turkey and he will not be able to work efficient on design, translating, etc. He will still try to. The good thing is that we still can discuss things. The Rise of Hackon: Kerem worked hard last week before going to Turkey. He designed three paths in a week. The Path Up to Down, Right to Left and Up to Left. Every path way was designed on a 96 x 96 drawing so huge respect for him. Not only that he pretty much nailed the good look too. I was more on coding the Stranger at the start of the game. Good news is that he is almost finished (about 70%). Bad news is that I haven't found the colour for his text yet. (and the color tile doesn't match the numbers, please make it stop) The battle music of the game is now 30 seconds long! The music is going to be longer of course, but I only have one loop idea left so there may be no progression on the song at all. A new item in the game ''The Battle Axe of Doom'' is being progressed. I have worked on the main body of it. After the coloring layer and the effecting, it is ready to be used. I also collected everything we drew together in a tileset. The graphics match well with each other. The main page of our game has been released! It has come out as the 1.1.3 Update of our Website. I posted the update aswell in our Facebook Page. If you haven't seen it already, go and check it out below! HF DRake: Website version 1.1.3 is now live. It includes the website of The Rise of Hackon and some little extra tweaks here and there, like that the view counter is now a visitor counter. Some work on the HF DRake logo is done aswell. The sword will be ready next week, I guess. As I was writing this blog, we talked about our game ideas and their main themes. Then we realised that Monster JRPG is seen with diffent perspectives. Kerem thought that it was a turn-based monster RPG, while I couldn't be succesfull explaining him that it was a real-time monster RPG.

 

What we will do untill next week: The Rise of Hackon: -Battle Axe of Doom will be finished -Storyline of The Rise of Hackon will be continued -Stranger will be coded to the final stage HF DRake: -Maybe a page update to 1.1.4 including an update to The Rise of Hackon page and an analytics-table of our company worth growth -talking and discussing about other game ideas (it takes a long time)
